Erin and Michael are a fun-loving and outgoing couple. Michael contacted me wanting to surprise Erin with an anniversary session. He wanted to thoughtfully gift her with a photo session since they didn't get any wedding photos 12 years ago when they got married. Erin was pregnant at the time and therefore not feeling well and Michael was getting ready for deployment. I thought it was an incredibly sweet gesture to surprise her with a photo session. 

Erin and Michael met when they were in college. Their 15 years together have been filled with ups and downs. Michael has bravely battled cancer and miraculously survived chemo, they have a son named Eric who is just as full of personality as his parents are, and they love watching bad horror movies. Together they have lost a combined 160 lbs in effort to get healthy for the second half of their lives. They look incredible!

Their session was fun and their natural chemistry made my job easy! I normally give direction during my sessions since I don't like to over-pose my clients. It was as if they read my mind every time. They organically fell into natural poses and interacted together in a way that would make you think they have only been married 12 minutes, not 12 years.
