Last Fall was short lived. It seemed like an incredibly short season and before you know it, it was FREEZING! I kept an eye on the dropping temps and told my son we would spend 10 minutes outside doing a few photos of him in his marching band uniform with the understanding that in the Spring he would owe me some time to do some more.
Well, Spring is here. Along with a very unfortunate global pandemic that has abruptly forced him to homeschool the remainder of his senior year sacrificing prom and possibly even a graduation ceremony *insert mom tears here*. Not being able to leave the house has forced us to creatively use our time. I was sitting here on the couch one day thinking how ironic it would be use to toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant spray as props for his senior photos! Thankfully he was on board with my ridiculous idea for once! I'm sure once the weather is nicer and the Stay-At-Home order has been lifted that we will go somewhere and take some serious ones but for now, I leave you with a few band photos and a few from yesterday.
I would very much like to add that this is not to make light of serious recent events. Our hearts go out to anyone infected with the virus or anyone that has a loved one infected with the virus. It's a very serious matter. I would also like to personally thank all of the essential workers, especially nurses and doctors working the front lines.
Stay well, my friends.
